Hi
I am interested in buying a stretchsit cushion and wondered whether it needs to be used on a specific type of chair as shown in the video on youtube or can it be used when sitting on a sofa with a long back. Also would it be of OK to use the cushion whilst lying down and doing the lying stretch.
Thanks

Hi there,
The Stretchsit Cushion is great for the car, chairs with a fixed backrest, folding chairs, etc. Couches are generally not ideal candidates for Stretchsitting as they are often very plush and it would be difficult to attach the cusion to anything that large. In a pinch you could try it by taking the cushion against your back and pushing in an upward motion (thus picking up a bit of the skin). Then, you would use one hand to hold the cushion in place on your back as you sat against a firm high backed couch. This is what we often recommend for airplane seats.
Stretchlying will give you enough length in an of itself. Using the cushion is not necessary and may force the back into an unwanted sway.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Warmly,
