Hi Esther,
My current mattress is memory foam. I am wondering it is too soft since I sagged into the mattress. I am thinking of totally replace it with a new firmer one. How do you think about the Japanese Tatami mat? I think it should be firm enough. I could also put a soft topping on it so it won't be too tough.
Thanks,

Hi Keying,
Finding the perfect bed can be challenging! We recommend something with enough give that your bones don't feel too much pressure, and enough structure that you don't fall into a compromised position where you are heaviest. Memory foam sometimes has enough firmness for this to happen quite well, however many memory foam toppers or mattresses become too soft. While I personally haven't slept on a Tatami mat, it may provide a nice firm structure for you to properly Stretchlie on your back and side. And yes, if you feel that your shoulders/ankles/hips are feeling a bit sore (depending on how sensitive you are or how much "padding" you have on your own body) then a soft topper would be an excellent addition.
Enjoy!
