Dear Esther,
Could I have your opinion on the comments about a yoga anatomy book from amazon

I have purchased countless books and dvds on yoga but they do not tell you what muscles need to be engaged and if they should be contracted, relaxed or firmed and how the joints should be aligned. I believe this is important because most books and dvds only tell you for exemple to bend your legs without telling you the correct way.
Any suggestions for excellent books and dvds on yoga that incorporate the above.
thanks

Dear Esther and Friends,
Here is a link to amazon that has some excellent DVDS (volumes 1 and 2)regarding human anatomy. The explanations are clearly and simply explained. Excellent to complement your yoga practice and the books I previously recommended. Any opinions welcome.
