I just got the book, and I borrowed a folding chair so I can begin strechsitting tonight. I have a bulging disk and severe sciatica. My question is, how long should one stretchsit to realize a benefit? I cannot use the folding chair at my desk at work. It's impossible (too short, no casters, etc.), so is an hour each day when I get home enough? Or more? I can't find any info in the book about this.
One night of strechsleeping decreased my morning sciatica pain by 50%. I'm beyond grateful!
Thank you in advance!

It is wonderful to hear that the stretchlying gave you such a great improvement that fast. Congratulations!
The benefits of all the things you learn from the book or in the Foundation Course will add up: no need to worry about any special time requirements. I understand that you can't stretchsit at work but maybe you spend time driving in a car? The car seat can become one of your most comfortable places to enjoy practicing stretchsitting.
A word of caution as you proceed: since you have the buldging disc and had severe pain in the past, go slow and gentle with the new techniques that you learn. Stretching your spine passively, as you do in stretchsitting and stretchlying, is paramount to allow old injuries to heal. Let your body and any possible pain be your guide as you practice something in between your old habit and the ideal.
Wishing you good progress and all the best,
Ljuba
