Cat Pose
What about doing yoga movements like the Cat pose where you lift your back up into a rounded arch? For the sake of good posture, is a movement like that to be avoided even when done briefly as part of a yoga/stretching routine?

I teach a modified cat pose where you don't overly sway your back nor overly tuck your pelvis. The thoracic spine likes to round some (though people who have thoracic ligament laxity need to be careful not to overdo this, even if it feels good) and the shoulder blades love to get pulled back.
