Nutrition!!!

Hi Dear Esther and the Crew.

Hope all of you are good and happy new year to you all.

I just watched Esther's presentation at Google in youtube( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yYJ4hEYudE).

One of the audiences asked about nutrition and Esther said that she can give some good references for this field.

Could you please introduce me some good resources (Books, published papers, website, etc) for spine nutrirtion?

Thanks

I started eating seaweed after I read somewhere that the body makes 'paste' from various minerals for new discs of the spine. I can't remember the page. But that seaweed at least would have all the tens of minerals lacking nothing that body needs. The body does all the healing in the background. Is this the info you were looking for?

Thanks a lot for your responce. You've shared helpful information with me.

I'm still looking for more information, for example a book or papers which are totally dedicated for spine health, because I couldn't myself find much.

I don't know which resources Ester was thinking of in that specific moment, but here are some of my thoughts. For the spine we are looking at connectivie tissue, bone density and anti inflamatory foods. In "The Book" Esther remmends bone broth. Collegen rich it feeds the connective tissue and decreases inflammation. If you don't have time to make bone broth opt for grass fed collegen supplements. I like Vital Proteins Beef Gelatin and Vital Proteins Collegen Peptides.  I tend to look at what has been eaten traditionally and the Weston A. Price Foundation is a fab resource: https://www.westonaprice.org The website is searchable and they have articles, video and poscasts on possibly every aspect of nutrition. Hope this helps, bon apetite!

Maybe Gokhale Method needs to do a cook book! Dine for Your Spine......
