I went to 2 chiropractors and was told that I lost all neck curve and need regain it.
What is your philosophy on the cervical curve? The ideal spine that you show from the 1911 textbook does have a cervical curve. So we need it?
I can see how putting our head forward to text will put pressure on the cervical spine and cause a reverse curve.
What is happening to the cervical spine when we lengthen our neck and pull our head back above our shoulders as we should? Is it straightening the ligaments and muscles, but curving the cervical spine to the correct position? Or is the spine itself becoming straight? Would like clarity on what is happening underneath.
Also, can you comment on this product? https://posturepump.com/posture-pump-products/posture-pumpr-model-1100-s-single-neck-air-cell.html. This claims that it will help reverse forward head posture.

Hi Lk,
26 y old same situation, I also used to stay on the computer 8 hours a day; for work and entertainment, until I started having restricted neck rotation and cracking sound when turning.
turns out my neck is straight; but despite xray findings, I wasnt given any treament aside from painkillers and muscle relaxant. Doctor said its a matter of changing my whole lifestyle (healthy posture, and more movement).
So I started doing that and some neck tractions I saw online (those where you nod back with towel behind your neck).
I'd like to know how are you dealing with that. And of course Esther's opinion on the condition.
Have a blessed day.
