Glidewalking in water?
Hi, I am interested in joining a "water walking" class at our neighborhood rec center which features the resistance of an opposing current as one walks in order to slightly increase the strength-building aspect of walking.  I am a beginner at Glidewalking, and am hoping that the two concepts will work together.  What do you think? Thanks! Amy P.S.  My back has not hurt since March, 2010, when I learned to Sidesleep in your Workshop in Boulder, Colorado.  XOXOX! A.

When I teach glidewalking, I sometimes ask people to imagine they are walking through water. The resistance of the water induces you to work harder with your glutes - also to have your pelvis in place so your glutes can work hard. I'm so happy to hear about your back not hurting - keep it up!
