I have been diagnosed with Lumbar Spondylosis with severe canal and foraminal stenosis at L4-L5. I also have a tiny disc protrusion L1-2 level. I am confused on which exercises or stretches I should avoid. Can you tell me? -Linda

Hello, Linda - The most important thing is to not do anything that hurts. You'll want to keep the focus on lengthening the spine rather than trying to increase pelvic anteversion at this time. To lengthen the spine as well as strengthen muscles of the abdomen and back that preserve a healthy structure, you can try the rib anchor exercises and the Inner Corset - but again, don't do anything that hurts!
For advice that's tailored more specifically for you and to make sure that you are doing the exercises correctly for your condition, I recommend that you see a teacher in person.
It's great that you are looking for ways to help yourself! Thanks for your question.
