Choosing a bed

Hi Esther,

Thanks for the newsletter article, "Choosing A Bed".  I'm looking to buy a new mattresses - most of the ones I've tried in showrooms seem comfortable.  So I'm really having trouble deciding.

I know that you don't endorse products, but what do you sleep on - brand and firmness.  Thanks.

We have a latex mattress, because I read good things about those at the time we were buying. This was before my posture adventures began - we still have them because they last forever. It's fine, but when I travel, I often the hotels have even more comfy mattresses. Bottomline, with my much-practiced stretchlying techniques, I think I can sleep on anything now - I've slept on bare floors, camping mats, hammocks, sunken canoe beds, you name it...

If you're in the market for a bed, as I mentioned in my blog, the research supports medium firm and this makes good sense.
