I was offered three options of office chair:
1) standard office chair
2) ergonomic office chair
3) exercise ball chair
Since childhood, I have pain in my neck and have been practicing Gokhale Method a bit by rolling my shoulders back for several months now. I still need to find time to apply Gokhale Method. I often have dull ahce to throbbing pain in my neck and back of my head.
I am considering requesting for an exercise ball, but I recognize that it doesn't have natural wedge. Suppose Gokhale chair is out of their budget, would Stretchsit Cushion be the best alternative? I am open to your recommendations.

Great Question! The typical "ergonomic" chairs encourage a swayed back by offering "lumbar support", so I would steer clear of them. The yoga ball can be sat upon as a natural wedge. I do like stack sitting on a yoga ball, personally, but sometimes I get tired of it and want just as regular chair and a stretchsit. At my desk I have the Gokhale Method Pain Free Chair, which I can stack or stretch-sit upon, but I recognize that it is pricy. Another, much cheaper option is just a nice chair that offers room for your behind (such as a simple folding chair) with a stretch-sit cushion on it. IT would be easy and affordable to have a yoga ball AND a chair folded on the side waiting for when you want to stretch sit.
If you look in the videos section, under "Gokhale Product information," there is a video that shows how to hook the stretchsit cushion to a wide variety of chairs.
I hope that answer is helpful! Feel free to ask any more questions that I didn't address here.
