Neck position
Hi Esther,

Thank you so much for an excellent refresher course this week.  You had mentioned that their are exercises, etc. for neck positioning.  Would you share these with me please?

Thank you,

Hi Pam,

Try the stretch and strength classes we offer in Palo Alto and request the instructor to focus on neck exercises. We also do extensive work on the neck in the GM 201 course. There are some neck exercises in the 8 Steps book. In general, do isometric exercises for the neck - the neck has delicate structures that you don't want to distort a lot. I do subscribe to the Australian PT research that neck mobilization is effective. Hard to do justice to this question on a forum. A subsequent book perhaps!

Hi Esther. I want to let you know how much I would like it if you wrote a subsequent book on neck posture! And I hope I will have an opportunity to take the GM 201 course in my area. Thanks for sharing your work!

Sincerely,
Stacie

Esther I would also love more information on Neck posture! I beleive I have a bulged or herniated disc in my neck and in terrible pain. Haven't been able to sleep in five months.
