I attended your class in Portland recently - thanks so much for the introduction! I picked up your book, and from what I've learned so far the method seems to make a lot of sense.
I have a number of problems that I am just now beginning to piece together. I've had low back pain on and off for about 10 years, and heel pain in both heels pretty constantly for about 4 years. The heel pain tends to be a pretty dull ache that doesn't really ever go away. I've seen so many doctors it would be hard to list them all. I've also got a minor lingering shoulder injury that should have healed but has been around for more than a year.
Anyway, I think that your method is the answer to these problems. My posture is poor, although I am working on it. What can you recommend to help alleviate the pain in the heels? How long do you think these changes will take? I'm currently going through the Rolfing series, which has been helpful, but I really am hoping to kick these problems and get into a life of good posture.
