pants
This is a question for everyone -

Even before I learned stretchsitting, my pants tended to have a gap between the waist band and my back. Now, it's unbearable. Every pair of pants I have seem to dig into my stomach when I sit and leave a several inch gap in the back.

Does anyone have recommendations for brands of pants that work well with a "ducky butt"? Everyone has a different body shape, but I'm wondering what people have found that works for them!

Thanks, Yophie

Nike used to make a pair of pants that Oprah favored that allowed for a good-sized butt. For some reason, they have changed their cuts and their "Be Strong" pants no longer work the same way. Go figure! I've switched to Nordstrom's brand called "Zella" - pricey, but they fit. On sale, they're reasonable.

In general, I find that teenage fashions fit better than ladies fashions. Problem is sometimes they go so low, you don't have anything covering your butt!

For women's work pants, I really like the Betabrand Dress Pant Yoga Pants. They're really stretchy and comfortable, they cover your whole butt (even when hip-hinging and sitting), and they look smart too!

I recently learned of a company called Poetic Justice that makes pants specifically for women with bigger behinds. I haven't bought anything from them yet because all I am wearing during covid is leggings and sweats, but the next time I want regular pants or jeans I will be buying them there.
